My name is Annabelle

but please call me Anna...

Annabelle Valencia

Dear Reader,

In a nutshell, I am a 32-year-old creator and true crime fanaticI grew up being sandwiched between four brothers and a sister in the small town of Visalia, California located in the San Joaquin Valley. It's the huge valley located in the center of California where the "Happy Cows" are...

After the passing of my youngest brother in 2009, I spiraled into a direction that had no meaning or purpose. Distancing myself from friends and family, I wanted to go as far away as soon as possible. So I did just that. I did what less than 10% of Americans do...I joined the military. The Navy to be exact...

"blah blah blah"... Regret this already?

... The Navy was fun, new, and exciting. It was exactly what I was looking for. I started to feel more alive. I was stationed at Iwakuni, Japan; Lemoore, CA; Bremerton, WA; and San Diego, CA. It was when I was stationed in Lemoore that I then gave birth to my beautiful daughter, Adamina, in 2011. It was around this time that photography became a serious hobby.

When I finished my time in the military, after years of missing out on birthdays and holidays, I finally had the freedom to become an active member in my family again.

After being discharged from the military, I decided that San Diego was the place I wanted to plant my roots. Since then never left.

I decided to go back to school to pursue a career that I was most passionate about. Photography. I loved learning the science and mechanics behind a camera, and I devoted extensive time studying light and its role in my photography style. I now focus most of my time and energy on being the best mother I can be for my daughter and on my business. I am truly fortunate to be able to provide my clientele with a product of which I am entirely proud. I am ever so grateful that people can trust me with such a personal investment.

It is incredibly important for me to share that I pride myself in giving my absolute best to represent all persons from all walks of life. That I believe everyone radiates their personal beauty by just being who they are and that they are incredibly unique because so. I am fortunate that I can witness such kindness, beauty, and love through my lens. I am eager to use whatever platform I am given to spread a positive, meaningful message that is fair to everyone's individuality so that we can celebrate this journey we experience together called life.

If you've read this far, I want to say thank you. It is because of past and potential future clients that I get to have a little piece of the internet and share my life journey.

I am forever grateful,

Anna
